The climatic changes observed over the past decades form one of the most serious challenges for Russian economy, as well as for the global economy in general. In spite of the obvious and sharp climatic changes occurring in the environment, specialists are still arguing about stability of these changes, and whether should be taken into account in regulatory documents, since the tendency might change tomorrow and we will return to a cooling period? However, as the studies conducted by the majority of climatologists show, these expectations are, most likely, groundless, and it is time now to dramatically change the approaches to regulative support of the building climatology.

Even today the changing climatic conditions dictate new requirements for the building constructions and technologies being used. In view of the changing climate the traditional technologies may turn out to be less reliable, and sometimes even inapplicable at all.  The article analyzes the climatic changes and their impact on the requirements for thermal protection of the building envelope and utility networks.

Наблюдаемые в последние десятилетия климатические изменения представляют собой один из самых серьезных вызовов как экономике России, так и мировой экономике в целом. Несмотря на явные и резкие климатические изменения, происходящие в окружающей нас среде, специалисты до сих пор спорят об устойчивости этих изменений и нужно ли учитывать их в нормативных документах, может быть завтра тренд изменится и опять наступит похолодание? Однако, как показывают исследования большинства климатологов, эти ожидания, скорее всего, напрасны и пришло время кардинально менять подходы к нормативному обеспечению строительной климатологии.

Уже сегодня меняющиеся климатические условия диктуют новые требования к применяемым строительным конструкциям и технологиям. На фоне меняющегося климата традиционные технологии могут оказаться менее надежными, а иногда и неприменимыми в принципе. В статье проанализированы климатические изменения и их влияние на требования к тепловой защите ограждающих конструкций и инженерным сетям.
