About ABOK
ABOK was founded in 1990.
ABOK has regional branch offices in St. Petersburg, Volgograd, Ekaterinburg, Krasnodar, Perm, Rostov-on-Don, Nizhniy Novgorod, Novosibirsk, Saratov, Ukraina (Odessa).
ABOK consists of collective and individual members. Collective members - 247 leading companies in HVAC field (engineering, designing, producing equipment, educational uni-versities, trading companies, installing, other companies).
ABOK is Associate member of American Society of Heating, Refrigerating and Air-Conditioning Engineers, Inc. (ASHRAE) and a member of Federation of European Heating and Air-Conditioning Associations (REHVA).
ABOK publish 4 journals:

"ABOK" (Heating, Ventilation, Air Conditioning),
"Energosberezhenie" (Energy saving technologies), is published jointly with the Department for Energy Moscow Government
"Santechnika" (Plumbing and Sewerage).
"Sustainable Building Technologies" (electronic Russian magazine).
 
ABOK has participated in the project of 1st Energy Efficient Building in Russia. Scientific management in this project was held by ABOK.
Since it was founded the ABOK held 20 ABOK Congresses and more than 100 conferences, seminars, symposiums and forums for specialists.
Together with the Moscow City Government, the ABOK initiated and organised 33 Conferences-Exhibitions entitled "Moscow - energy efficient city".
