Visas
 Visas are needed for almost all countries. Please contact consulate of Russian Federation in your country in advance to get visa in time. An entry visa for Russia may not be obtained on the border prior to entry.

"Ukraina" and "Mir" hotels doesn't provide visas, however some expensive 4 stars hotels and 5 stars hotels provide tourist visa.

Tourist visa - 20 - 25$ -the same day (In the application form for Russian consulate should be written the aim of visit - tourism)
Business visa - 40-60 $ (5-10 working days)

Important information:

Ñitizens of China, India, Iran, Turkey and Egypt are advised to obtain business visa to entry the Russian Federation. Getting a tourist visa maybe too complicated due to visa policy regulations. You will also need to submit the original business invitation to the Consulate in your country.
For the participants of Cold Climate HVAC Conference: business visa - 150$ + express mail (50-95 $).

Citizens of Albania, Latvia, Lithuania, Poland, Switzerland (if applying to Consulate in Bern), Italy (if applying to Consulate in Milan ), Romania, Serbia and Montenegro will be asked to show the original invitation either tourist or business at the consulate.
